AMiRA jewelry + NAKATE

The Kuzua necklace is part of the The Kakooge Collection – a Journey Back to our Roots.

Designed by AMiRA jewelry, the collection re-purposes paper beads from Kakooge, the village Nakate launched from. Together with South American knotting techniques and sterling silver, 14k gold or brass, these beads celebrate our Kuzua, or beginning, in Uganda.

This piece is available in salmon and turquoise with sterling silver metal. If you prefer the additional colors and metals pictured in this post, please visit NAKATE's website where more options are available exclusively!! www.nakateproject.com

A portion of proceeds from The Kakooge Collection will be invested into expanding Nakate’s work with artisans in Kakooge.

Ships in 3-5 business days.

(16 1/2 inches (chain length 12 inches + 3 inch extender chain – focal piece length 4 1/2 inches). Center (main focal piece w/bead) width 2 inches. Sterling silver, 14k gold or hypoallergenic brass, and brass and gold filled options).

Refunds

Shopping on line is a difficult thing for me. As an artist, I feel a need to physically hold my possible purchase. With this in mind, I do accept returns and will issue refunds for certain styles only. Some of our older styles that we continue to produce made-to-order are not eligible for return. Please contact us first before buying if you require the possibility of a refund.

AMiRA jewelry is more than happy to exchange an item for you!!
